Skoda Fabia VRS Tuning & Remapping

The Skoda Fabia VRS is no slouch from factory. It weighs in at little over 1300kg yet packs the same 130BHP 1.9 TDi PD130 Volkswagen Turbo Diesel engine as fitted to the VW Passat, Audi A3, A4 and A6, but, this is the same engine that ships from factory with 150BHP in some models and markets, yet the 150BHP version is still de-tuned and can also benefit hugely from an economy or performance ECU remap.

A performance remap on the Skoda Fabia VRS lifts power from 130BHP & 310Nm of torque to a mighty 170BHP with 385Nm torque. It's not just the extra power that makes a car faster however. Following a remap the Turbo will spool quicker and the power band will be considerably wider. This turns the Fabia VRS into a serious road rocket. In gear pull has been described as phenomenal by customers who have had their VRS remapped by JR Tuning.

Of course, some of you may want to save some money on Diesel fuel. This is where economy remapping shines. We can still lift power to a not to be sniffed at 158BHP & 365Nm of torque while providing ~ 15% fuel savings.
